No, I don’t surf, but my Husband does. He was only complaining yesterday that there had been no good surf for ages, then today we got the call from a friend at Cabarita that the surf was up. When we got there it was coming up, and within 15 mins the carpark had filled up and surfers were coming from everywhere.
I once lived across the road from the headland and things haven’t changed much except I don’t remember there being whales passing back in the early 80′s. Apparently there were 2 whales cavorting off the headland earlier. I took some photos and caught up with friends whilst my Husband got his fill of salt water.
